目標回顧

1. 把 Effective Go 看完

已看完,印象比較深刻的部分包含:

The difference between new and make

New - It’s a built-in function that allocates memory, but unlike its namesakes in some other languages it does not initialize the memory, it only zeros it.

make - It creates slices, maps, and channels only, and it returns an initialized (not zeroed) value of type T (not *T). The reason for the distinction is that these three types represent, under the covers, references to data structures that must be initialized before use.

Go Slices: usage and internals

之前也曾經寫過關於 Go Slice 和 Array 不同之處(https://yushuanhsieh.github.io/go/go-fundamental-array/),我覺得這挺重要的,所以多複習一下。

The init function

init is called after all the variable declarations in the package have evaluated their initializers, and those are evaluated only after all the imported packages have been initialized.

執行順序很重要: All imported packages initialized -> variables in the packages initialized -> init function

Embedding interface and struct

Go does not provide the typical, type-driven notion of subclassing, but it does have the ability to “borrow” pieces of an implementation by embedding types within a struct or interface.

Share by communicating

Do not communicate by sharing memory; instead, share memory by communicating.

有寫 Go 的可能都知道 GoroutinesChannels 怎麼寫,不過這邊主要是在說概念,讓開發者更清楚其用意。

2.複習 JavaScript 概念,釐清各細節

複習 JavaScript 原因是因為平常太常寫 JavaScript 了,反而忽略一些細節,所以特別買了 JavaScript for impatient programmers 這本電子書來看。雖然書的名稱很寫實,不過內容卻寫的很不錯,有涵蓋到各概念以及 ES6 部分,值得一看。

3. 工作上用到的 Protocol 相關知識

目前常用到的 Protocol 包含 MQTT / HTTP / WEB Socket / Modbus 等,這個月主要著重在整個 Overview 概念上,並且有看一點 Protocol 實作細節,像是 MQTT, Modbus message format 等。之後學習會比較深入在 Protocol 原理細節,讓自己對於 Protocol 有更完整的理解。
